A Perl script that that 'corrects' the headers on Wave Format Extensible files. Should work on any platform with Perl installed, thusfar tested on Linux.
If file.wav is a WAVEX (Wave-ex (Wave Format Extensible)) file
then:
./wav2amb.pl file.wav
will create file.amb with the correct headers.
As the wavex file already contains all the relevant information there is no user required input … except the name of the file to be converted.
