Temporary documentation.
NORMALISE: adjusts a file's volume so that the peak volume is a set figure (-1.5dB unless you opt for another value). The process is verbose due to underlying snags in the scripts called. This is being worked on. Multiple processing of sound files beyond the essential is not recommended, and thus normalising should generally only be done once at the end of processing. Usage "ambman --norm[alise] in.wav out.wav" |
